Introduction

Niche Group’s strategy is to invest in oil and gas businesses and related service companies and assets in Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia. Niche Group seeks to create value through acquisitions, farm-ins, joint ventures; or direct interests in oil and gas projects. The directors and management have many years experience between them in investing in early stage businesses.

Niche Group’s current investment portfolio is focused on the Turkish energy market, with an investment in Oman Resources Limited (“Oman”), a private company, by way of a convertible loan which converts into a 35.7 interest. Oman is farming in to multiple petroleum licence blocks onshore Turkey in partnership with ARAR Petrol ve Gaz AUPAS (“ARAR”), one of the largest independent petroleum licence owner/operators in Turkey. Niche Group also has a direct 5% shareholding in ARAR.

The companies within Niche Group’s portfolio are actively engaged in oil and gas exploration and production with a strategy to become significant suppliers of oil and gas to the Turkish energy market.
